The food is amazing here. The spicy fajitas are to die for. I enjoy sitting at the bar and having dinner with a couple of cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño margaritas. Frankie the owner often comes by and says hello. The service is very good. When I come back to town from traveling this is always one of my first stops!!!
We've been coming here for years, but this was the first time since the remodel. Everything looks AMAZING! I couldn't believe it. Lately I haven't had much of an appetite so I just order Frankie's veggies and street corn. They are both SO good and the waiter even brought the Valentina without me asking! Yum! My bf got the Numero Tres and ate every bite. Of course the queso and salsa were fantastic as usual. Best food, staff and atmosphere around!
First time I went to Frankie's was in the mid 2000's. Between it an Casa Mama in Plano they were my default Mexican restaurants. Sadly I moved out of the area for more than 10 years. But today I had the chance to go back and it wasn't a disappointment. They were as busy as I remembered but got seated quickly. The 2oz serving of salsa with chips was a little surprising but the waitress kept me supplied. The place definitely has its regulars at the bar which is a testament to the place in the community. As for the food, as delicious as I remember! Keep up the great food and excellent service!
It was kinda one of this hole in the wall spots once you got inside, great vibes and service. I didn't try the food as we was there for drinks. But I want to go back and eat as it all looked and smelled amazing. I got a cucumber margarita and BOY was it slamming!! Very well made drink!
Can easily feel crowded but you don't care because the food is delicious!! Husband always gets the chimichanga and I try it all, even the torta when I really want enchilada. It's all good. Friendly staff and cold drinks, a plus.
Stopped her by chance one late evening we were very surprised, From the minute we walked in the place had a relaxed vibe and excellent service all around. From management to waitstaff and my compliments definitely to the chef! This place has excellent food. We have been back multiple times and always new choices to try. We like the place so much we've been here for birthdays, family gatherings and we're sure to visit many more times. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to go again!
The food and service here are great! Although, the exterior of the restaurant may give you a different impression. I ordered ceviche and tortilla soup and loved both of them. The ceviche was meaty, flavorful, and accompanied by jalapeño poppers that were delicious!
